Bottle Service: Pop the cork!
Let's be real, wine is a lifestyle. And Wine Wednesday sounds much more appealing than "Hump Day" which I refuse to say out loud because I just can't do it. But unless you're an AARP member who retired early to work on their lawn and collect seeds for your own personal green house (sorry Dad), you can't afford to spend $30 on a bottle of wine that will last you three days tops if you're honest with yourself.
If you're like me, you probably pick wine based on how cool the label and/or name is and if it's under $11. I'll stretch to $13 but it has to be a super cute label or my parents are buying it for me. I've come across a lot of bad wine this way, but I keep drinking it because I paid for it and I feel guilty about pouring it out because I spent 11 hard-earned dollars on these stupid smashed grapes. I've also come across a lot of great wine by these criteria and feel as though it's my duty to share my wealth of knowledge about satisfactory wine that you won't feel guilty about drinking at on a weekday by yourself.
Happy drinking!
