Oh hey, Holidays!
I literally love the holiday season. I look forward all year to the three month period between October to New Years (I start in October because I count my birthday as a holiday, obvs). The drinks are warm, the sweaters are fuzzy, the candle scents are AMAZING, and there is food everywhere. Everything's warm and smells great and you're holding pie.
Anyway, here's my family's holiday card picture. It took over an hour because we couldn't decide on a theme. It was either this or I was going to photoshop our faces on to a heard of reindeer but I was apparently the only one who liked that idea. I might still do it and send it out as a secondary card.
But I think this picture really captures the truth behind the holidays for a lot of people. You love your family and you love spending time with them but sometimes they start to wear on you a bit too much. My brother and I both Instagrammed this picture and his caption was pretty spot on...
“Holidays with the [family] are not to be forgotten, hopefully.”
