Iris Apfel is everything I hope to be one day: a well-dressed, badass, advocate for women. A preferably to also have worked at Women's Wear Daily. Her Instagram account is truly as iconic as she is and just constantly gives me the confidence to wear literally whatever my heart desires. There's a great quote in her Netflix documentary, which I highly recommend, where when someone mentions to her that they've never heard her say that she didn't like the way someone dresses, she says, "I can't judge. It's better to be happy than well dressed".
