The Best Sites for Late-Night Online Shopping
We've all been there. It's Friday night, you've had a looong week at work, and are in the midst of celebrating two upcoming days of freedom with half a bottle of wine. While this is normal and a refreshing way to start the weekend, it often leads to what I call a Wine Purchase. For example, my $60 Lumee iPhone case that I bought while binge-ing KUWTK after a few glasses was a Wine Purchase. It was a GREAT Wine Purchase, but none the less, it was unnecessary. The real problem is that I have my credit card information memorized. It's bittersweet.
The easiest way to prevent wine-buyer's remorse is to have a collection of websites where it's nearly impossible to make a poor purchase. It's too easy to go on to Amazon and buy costumes for your pets, but you're going to hate yourself the next day when you see the confirmation e-mail and then spend 45 minutes on the phone with their customer service trying to cancel. What's easier in the long-run for everyone is to bookmark a few solid shopping sites and take out your Wine Purchase enthusiasm in places where worst case scenario: you buy the same shirt twice.
