"I Got Them at Old Navy"

Do not sleep on Old Navy. They are back with a vengence and bomber jackets.

Before last year, you couldn't force me into an Old Navy. It was essentially Wet Seal which is essentially garbage. Bad quality, generic pieces, and weird sizing. I think they were still selling zip-off cargo pants, I'm not entirely sure but that's the aura they were giving off. Their team must have felt the same way a lot of us were, because in 2012 they hired H&M's former Head of Global Sales, Stefan Larsson who is now the new CEO of Ralph Lauren, and last summer brought in Art Peck as the new CEO of Gap Inc., the parent company of Old Navy, as well as Gap, Banana Republic, and Athletica.

I didn't even realize how much Old Navy had stepped it up until October. I would get friends texting me while shopping asking my opinion of some outfits and when I would ask where they were and they would reply "I'm at Old Navy actually," I was kind of floored. Old Navy doesn't sell stuff like this. Their aesthetic isn't utilitarian jumpsuits, it's those American flag t-shirts your aunt from a small town wears on holidays. When did they start making flannel ponchos and why don't I own one yet?

Old Navy is back and is ready to compete with other good quality-affordable price brands and I am so here for it.
