The American Campus Leasing Center is the central hub for all leasing in the Austin market. With six communities leasing thousands of beds from the same office space, staff might not be available to immediately help every student or parent who comes in to take a tour or ask a question. To solve this problem, we installed six touchscreen televisions to create an interactive leasing and touring experience to alleviate stress from the office staff and allow potential residents the opportunity to explore the multitude of housing options offered before taking the next step and speaking with a staff member. As a select group of designers, we were tasked with creating the front-end interface for the touchscreen, along with how the system operates.
